Bookkeeper

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and account statements
• Process and manage payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Prepare and execute year-end closing procedures, ensuring all accounts are balanced and reconciled
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and generate detailed reports
• Analyze financial data to provide timely and accurate insights for business decision-making
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve accounting issues effectively
• Ensure compliance with accrual and cash basis accounting standards
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Maintain organization and accuracy while working independently with minimal supervision

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting or Business is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping roles
• Strong knowledge of accrual and cash basis accounting principles
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated expertise in year-end closing procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal oversight
• Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability to shifting priorities

Previous experience with payroll is desirable
