We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. This role involves handling essential accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with actual balances
Create and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial data
Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage financial transactions
Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date bookkeeping records
Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies or inquiries
Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
Support other bookkeeping-related tasks to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a contract role
Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and journal entries
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with preparing financial reports and maintaining records
