We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This Contract position involves managing financial operations for multiple entities across various states while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of bookkeeping practices.
Job Responsibility:
Record and reconcile daily sales transactions across multiple entities
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with precision
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Support the Senior Accountant with financial reporting and analysis
Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Prepare accurate financial documents and reports as needed
Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a multi-entity environment
Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop for financial management
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with bank reconciliations and financial accuracy practices
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members
