We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to help with a special project for our law firm client in Beverly Hills. This is a fully remote role. This Contract position requires expertise in QuickBooks and a strong background in managing financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. Ideal candidates will have experience in client trust accounting and possess a detail-oriented approach to financial management. The ideal candidate will be familiar with IOLTA trust accounting.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks software
Process and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy
Address and resolve any backlog of financial transactions, ensuring accounts are current
Manage client trust accounting in compliance with legal standards and regulations
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing processes
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient financial tracking and reporting
Requirements:
At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with law firm experience being a plus
Proficiency in QuickBooks, including both Online and Desktop versions
Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliations and balance accounts
Experience in client trust accounting is highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Exceptional organizational skills for managing financial data efficiently
Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
