We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Los Olivos, California. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the organization's financial operations. This role requires proficiency with QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with attention to detail
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements
Utilize QuickBooks to record and organize financial data efficiently
Prepare monthly financial reports to support business decision-making
Process bill payments and ensure timely handling of vendor invoices
Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented
Use Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and create reports
Follow best practices for bookkeeping and adhere to company policies
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks for managing financial records
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Experience preparing monthly financial statements and reports
