We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, oversee transactions, and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping processes.
Job Responsibility:
Process and record credit card payments accurately and in a timely manner
Issue invoices to vendors daily, ensuring amounts are correct and deadlines are met
Assist in preparing financial statements and collaborate with leadership on financial matters
Post transactions to the general ledger and ensure entries are properly categorized
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies
Manage payroll processes, including basic payroll tasks as needed
Handle journal entries and assist in preparing income statements
Perform light tax-related tasks with attention to compliance and accuracy
Monitor inventory-related financial transactions and credit card usage
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of financial processes
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ability to perform bank reconciliations with attention to detail
Familiarity with payroll procedures and basic payroll tasks
