Job Description

Stable Queens based organization is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, managing incoming and outgoing transactions, and helping keep accounting processes organized and up to date. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with QuickBooks Desktop and has hands-on experience handling core bookkeeping tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain accurate financial records by processing routine bookkeeping transactions and keeping account information current
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including reviewing bills, preparing payments, and tracking outstanding obligations
  • Oversee accounts receivable functions by recording customer payments, monitoring balances, and following up on open invoices
  • Prepare and issue invoices and billing documents in a timely manner to support steady cash flow
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Enter and update accounting data in QuickBooks Desktop while preserving complete and well-organized documentation

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in bookkeeping or a closely related accounting support role
  • Practical experience using QuickBooks Desktop in a work setting
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and billing procedures
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and resolve discrepancies efficiently
