We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Buffalo, New York. Job Responsibility:
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and within established timelines
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data
Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial entries, reports, and account management
Prepare and review financial reports to support decision-making processes
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for audits and compliance purposes
Collaborate with other departments to address financial discrepancies and provide support
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards in all financial activities
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Solid knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience performing bank reconciliations with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management
