Job Description:

Alloy Silverstein, a regional public accounting firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries.

Job Responsibility:

Perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries
Keep financial records updated
Prepare reports and reconciling G/L accounts
Run accounting software programs (QuickBooks and/or Xero) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, and disbursements

Requirements:

Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
Proficiency in QuickBooks and or Xero
Minimum 2-3 years experience
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers
Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
Well organized
2-5 years of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience preferred
