We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in San Leandro, California. In this role, you will oversee financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and familiarity with QuickBooks, as well as experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee full-cycle accounting, including A/P and A/R
Perform regular bank, credit card, and vendor reconciliations
Process bi-weekly payroll and manage employee time tracking
Prepare and file sales tax reports
assist with year-end close
Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L reports
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
Resolve billing issues with vendors, customers, and management
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Requirements:
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
small business background preferred
Proficient in QuickBooks Online
Solid knowledge of GAAP
Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated with ability to maintain confidentiality
Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Nice to have:
Industry experience in manufacturing, printing, or apparel
Familiarity with inventory management or job costing
