Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract and part-time basis in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and possess a solid understanding of accounting processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage financial tasks and maintain accurate records. This role will be approximately 20 hours a week.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform routine bank reconciliations to ensure financial data alignment
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to manage financial operations and generate reports
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with periodic audits
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies in financial records
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial processes
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial workflows and efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping with advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
  • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Strong ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
