The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the organization. This role ensures timely and precise processing of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting to support financial decision‑making. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and proficient in accounting systems.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections follow‑up
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
Prepare and process payroll
Maintain vendor files, W‑9s, and support year‑end 1099 preparation
Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports as needed
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts with accurate transactional data
Organize and maintain financial documentation for audit readiness
