Job Responsibility:
Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Accurately process and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
Use Excel to sort, filter, and analyze financial data efficiently
Perform general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate journal entries are recorded
Manage financial records and generate reports in QuickBooks
Assist in financial statement preparation, ensuring all entries are properly categorized
Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization in all financial tasks
Identify discrepancies in financial records and take corrective actions proactively
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines for monthly and quarterly reporting
Support additional accounting tasks as required to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in accounting functions, including processing and reconciling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
Proficient in QuickBooks and skilled in utilizing advanced Excel features such as sorting and filtering to efficiently analyze financial data
Strong understanding of general ledger procedures and accurate recording of journal entries
Capable of preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements with a high attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all financial records
Proven problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting data
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team setting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred
