Job Responsibility:

  • Manage daily accounting operations using SAP, including accounts payable/receivable, job cost tracking, and project billing
  • Process and reconcile construction-related invoices, vendor payments, and payroll
  • Track and report project expenditures, budgets, and committed costs for multiple job sites
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Collaborate with project managers and field personnel to ensure accuracy of job costing and forecasting
  • Maintain organized financial records compliant with internal policies and audit standards
  • Generate standard and custom financial reports for management review
  • Support implementation and optimization of SAP features for company accounting workflows
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements as the accounting department grows

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in construction, real estate, or a related field
  • Hands-on proficiency with SAP (preferred) or similar ERP/accounting software
  • Strong understanding of construction job costing, billing, and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, adapting to a fast-growing environment
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
