Job Responsibility:
Manage daily accounting operations using SAP, including accounts payable/receivable, job cost tracking, and project billing
Process and reconcile construction-related invoices, vendor payments, and payroll
Track and report project expenditures, budgets, and committed costs for multiple job sites
Assist with month-end and year-end close, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
Collaborate with project managers and field personnel to ensure accuracy of job costing and forecasting
Maintain organized financial records compliant with internal policies and audit standards
Generate standard and custom financial reports for management review
Support implementation and optimization of SAP features for company accounting workflows
Contribute to ongoing process improvements as the accounting department grows
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in construction, real estate, or a related field
Hands-on proficiency with SAP (preferred) or similar ERP/accounting software
Strong understanding of construction job costing, billing, and compliance requirements
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
Ability to work independently and in a team, adapting to a fast-growing environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
