We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Shallotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will manage essential accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records are maintained. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to day-to-day operations while supporting payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
Job Responsibility:
Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy
Manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Utilize QuickBooks Online to organize and track financial information
Support warranty claim processing and purchasing activities
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations
Step into the role quickly with minimal training and adapt to existing systems
Assist with integrating financial data into organizational processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and general accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience performing bank reconciliations accurately
Familiarity with payroll operations and procedures
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
