CPA firm in the Farmingdale area seeks a part time Bookkeeper to join this well-established firm. Small, friendly, welcoming firm seeks an experienced professional services bookkeeper to handle a variety of tasks related to reconciliations, payroll and sales tax, and general recordkeeping.
Job Responsibility:
Perform detailed bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and update financial records
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions and financial data
Collaborate with team members
Generate and review reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all bookkeeping activities
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping roles
Proficiency in using QuickBooks on line
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Expertise in performing bank reconciliations with high accuracy
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
QuickBooks experience is required
Availability to work in office
