We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a family office in Century City. This role involves managing financial transactions and assisting with routine bookkeeping tasks for a single-family office. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with basic accounting processes and have a commitment to accuracy and organization. This position will be 3-4 months and will be 30-35 hours per week.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
Assist with bill payments and expense tracking using QuickBooks and other tools
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of American Express transactions
Support the transition to Netsuite, collaborating with the implementation team as needed
Handle routine bookkeeping tasks to ensure timely and efficient financial management
Address catch-up work for financial records and ensure compliance with company standards
Provide accurate reporting and documentation for monthly financial activities
Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and project goals
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar role
Proficiency with QuickBooks and familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, time-consuming tasks
Experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
Ability to adapt to new systems, such as Netsuite, with training provided
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
