This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to our accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate financial records.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and record financial data effectively
Prepare financial reports to support decision-making processes
Monitor and track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
Assist with general accounting tasks, including payroll and expense management
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes
Provide support during audits and ensure documentation is readily available
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Proficiency in QuickBooks software is required
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data
Ability to work onsite in Lebanon, Pennsylvania as required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Reliable and able to commit to a long-term contract position
