We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Brevard, North Carolina. In this role, you will assist the team with bank reconciliations ensuring accuracy and reliability in reporting and record-keeping. This position is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in QuickBooks and bookkeeping processes.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and organized financial records using QuickBooks
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently
Monitor and track financial data to support business operations
Prepare and generate reports detailing financial activity and balances
Address discrepancies in financial records promptly and effectively
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies
Assist in audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and insights
Manage sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks software for financial management
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience with bank reconciliation procedures
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
