Our client in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and wish to contribute their expertise to a dynamic organization.
Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently
Prepare financial statements, reports, and balance sheets
Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with payroll preparation and related record keeping
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Microsoft D365, or NetSuite
Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small to midsize business environment
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with bookkeeping and accounting software (QuickBooks, Microsoft D365, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
