Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank statements and trust accounts in compliance with legal industry standards
Process payroll, invoicing, and expense reports accurately and on time
Maintain general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements
Ensure compliance with legal trust accounting and firm protocols
Assist with budgeting, billing, and reporting as needed
Support attorneys and administrative staff with financial data requests
Requirements:
2+ years of bookkeeping experience
prior experience within a law firm or professional services sector preferred
Familiarity with legal accounting software and trust accounting best practices is a plus
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
Nice to have:
