Job Description:

Robert Half is in search of a skilled Bookkeeper to join a team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this Bookkeeper role, you will manage financial records and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. This Bookkeeper position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contributes to the smooth functioning of our accounting operations.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records using QuickBooks
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Handle data entry tasks and organize financial records for easy access
Generate time and expense reports to support financial analysis
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for financial documentation and reporting
Support audits and resolve discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial records
Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Expertise in performing bank reconciliations accurately
Skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel for financial tasks
Strong organizational and data entry skills
Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy
