We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations in Gardena, California. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, coordinating loan-related documentation, and managing key accounting activities with a high degree of organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in Excel and QuickBooks, can keep deadlines on track through effective calendaring, and brings a strong understanding of reconciliations, payables, and receivables.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records and oversee routine bookkeeping activities to support smooth daily operations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate entry of financial data
Reconcile bank accounts regularly and investigate discrepancies to preserve the integrity of accounting records
Prepare and organize documentation related to loans and refinancing, ensuring files are complete and compliant with applicable requirements
Calculate loan interest and assist with tracking payment details, balances, and key financial deadlines
Use Excel and QuickBooks to manage reports, update records, and support financial analysis as needed
Coordinate calendars, monitor important due dates, and help keep financial tasks and documentation organized
Provide administrative and accounting support that helps leadership stay informed and prepared for upcoming financial obligations
Requirements:
Experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of core accounting practices
Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Hands-on experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Familiarity with loan documentation, refinancing support, or interest calculations
