We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Richland, Michigan. The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth financial operations. This role requires a strong background in bookkeeping and proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Job Responsibility:
Record and manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely billing and payments
Reconcile bank statements and financial records on a regular basis
Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports for management review
Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent support regarding billing and account issues
Maintain organized and secure financial documentation and records
Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and resolve discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data effectively
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Effective communication skills, including attentive phone etiquette
Customer service experience, particularly in handling billing inquiries
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
