Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to manage essential financial processes and ensure the accuracy of our records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and experience with QuickBooks.

Job Responsibility:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate transactions
Oversee bank reconciliations and manage general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy
Perform month-end closings and prepare necessary reports for financial review
Track fixed assets and create detailed depreciation schedules
Supervise entry level bookkeepers and accounting clerks to ensure adherence to best practices
Prepare trial balances and assist with financial reporting as needed
Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management software
Strong skills in managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Demonstrated ability to handle bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Familiarity with preparing trial balances and month-end closings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to supervise and support team members who are new to the field effectively
