Job Description:

An established accounting firm in Edmond, OK is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This position offers a great opportunity for someone looking to grow long-term with a reputable and professional firm.

Job Responsibility:

manage daily bookkeeping functions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and in a timely manner
prepare and process payroll for multiple clients
assist with financial reporting, month-end close, and year-end support
utilize QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online for client bookkeeping and reporting
communicate with clients and internal staff regarding financial data, documentation, and deadlines
support tax preparation activities as needed

Requirements:

3–4 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting or professional services environment
proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
experience with payroll processing and a basic understanding of tax preparation or support
strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial data management
excellent communication and time management skills
