Robert Half is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client in Mount Vernon on a contract basis. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records for a growing business.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
Prepare financial reports for management review
Assist with payroll and benefit administration as needed
Support month-end and year-end close procedures
Requirements:
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective interpersonal and written communication abilities
