Job Responsibility:
Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Process payroll and maintain payroll records
Prepare financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
Monitor and report on Work in Progress (WIP) statements and related project accounting
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate ledgers
Maintain internal financial controls and support audit preparations
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies
Assist with cross-functional projects or special assignments as needed
Balanced with administrative and office functions
Requirements:
4+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role, with proven experience in billing and payment reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and intermediate Excel
Prior experience working with WIP statements and generating financial reports
Solid understanding of trust account management and compliance standards
Strong knowledge of small- to mid-sized business accounting operations
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn quickly and collaborate during the cross-training period
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and staff
Nice to have:
