We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Princeton Junction, NJ. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting HR administrative tasks. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in bookkeeping and familiarity with QuickBooks.
Job Responsibility:
Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately
Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
Assist with invoicing, collections, and processing payments efficiently
Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation
Keep accounting files and records well-organized and easily accessible
Provide administrative assistance to the finance department as needed
Assist with HR tasks such as employee onboarding documentation and maintaining personnel files
Help coordinate internal communications and employee-related documentation
Support HR with various administrative responsibilities, including record management
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related role
Proficiency in using QuickBooks for managing financial records
Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience performing bank and account reconciliations accurately
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members
Basic knowledge of HR practices and willingness to learn administrative HR tasks
Nice to have:
