Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented PART TIME Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing team in Woodland Hills, California. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who is confident managing core bookkeeping functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will bring hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a strong grasp of payables, receivables, and account reconciliation.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and keeping accounting data organized and up to date
  • Process vendor invoices and payments while ensuring accounts payable activity is completed accurately and on schedule
  • Manage customer billing, payment posting, and follow-up activities to support timely accounts receivable collection
  • Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies by reviewing transactions and researching outstanding items
  • Use QuickBooks to enter, track, and update financial information across routine bookkeeping workflows
  • Prepare regular financial reports and summaries to provide visibility into account activity and balances
  • Assist with month-end close tasks by verifying entries, reviewing supporting documentation, and ensuring records are complete

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a business environment
  • Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks for daily accounting and recordkeeping tasks
