We are seeking a reliable Contract-to-Hire Bookkeeper with experience using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. This role will support daily accounting functions and help maintain accurate financial records for the organization.
Job Responsibility
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts
Record journal entries and support month-end close
Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking as needed
Prepare financial reports and account summaries
Ensure data accuracy and proper recordkeeping
Support outside accountants or internal leadership with financial information requests
Requirements
Prior bookkeeping experience required
Experience with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop required
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and bookkeeping software
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
