We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Goleta, California. In this role, you will manage essential financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounts. Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and organize financial transactions efficiently
Prepare and review financial reports to support decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all financial activities
Handle payment processing and resolve discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting procedures
Monitor and manage cash flow to support business operations
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes for efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Solid knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Expertise in performing accurate bank reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
