Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliations while utilizing QuickBooks Online and Excel. Job Responsibility:

Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process payroll for 15-20 employees accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile all accounts to the general ledger and ensure financial accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with the accounting clerk to maintain accurate financial records
Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to manage and report on financial data
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Ability to perform account and bank reconciliations with accuracy
Familiarity with posting journal entries and completing month-end close tasks
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona
