We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a proven ability to handle various accounting tasks efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records and update accounts regularly
Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and preparing payments
Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances
Utilize QuickBooks software for tracking and managing financial data
Generate financial reports to support decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or issues
Assist with additional accounting tasks as required to support the business
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
