We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This role offers a flexible schedule of 20–24 hours per week, primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing financial records, payroll processing, and administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Coordinate project hours and prepare detailed client billing information
Monitor and track invoices, ensuring timely communication with the accountant
Process payroll for team members and handle electronic invoicing
Resolve basic computer-related issues, such as password resets and security troubleshooting, across Mac and Windows systems
Support client groups by coordinating online business assessments, managing instructions, and uploading results to Dropbox
Assist with technology updates and integrations, including syncing tools like Outlook and Teams
Draft and edit business communications and client instructions with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Proficiency in QuickBooks and bank reconciliation processes
Strong technical skills with familiarity in troubleshooting Mac and Windows systems
Knowledge of tools like Dropbox, Microsoft Office, and Mac OS
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including conducting online assessments and coordinating results
Excellent written communication skills for drafting and editing business-related content
Detail-oriented and proactive approach to handling administrative and financial tasks
Comfortable working in a remote environment with occasional in-person meetings
