Robert Half is looking for a Bookkeeper for a contract position. The Bookkeeper will handle the financial statements and will also process accounts payable and accounts receivables for several entities.
Job Responsibility:
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Develop a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Oversee and manage general ledger
Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Monitor accounts by balancing entries
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Deep understanding of accounts receivable & accounts payable
Account & bank reconciliation experience
General ledger experience highly desired
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Prior experience using accounting software
2+ years related work experience as a Bookkeeper
