Are you a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper looking for an ongoing opportunity with long-term potential? Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire position based in Pleasanton, CA. Job Responsibility

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts monthly
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
  • Support payroll processing and other ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (prior temp-to-hire or contract roles a plus)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
