Our client, well established in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for an onsite position in the Knoxville area. This critical role will support daily financial and administrative operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all business activities.
Job Responsibility:
Make daily deposits to the company checking account and handle all bank deposit activities
Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Reconcile all accounts to the general ledger and ensure monthly accuracy
Balance and review company credit card statements and transactions
Post journal entries to the general ledger in a timely and precise manner
Perform secretary and administrative duties as required, supporting office operations
Requirements:
Prior experience in bookkeeping, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
Experience with account reconciliations and balancing company credit cards
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively onsite in a manufacturing office environment
Proficient with accounting software, such as SAP, NetSuite, Sage, etc.
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
