Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our client's team in South Jersey. In this Bookkeeper role, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations. This Bookkeeper role is critical in ensuring the smooth financial operations within our client's organization.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and manage accurate billing processes to ensure timely invoicing and revenue tracking
Reconcile financial accounts, including bank and credit card statements, to maintain accurate records
Perform general bookkeeping tasks, such as journal entries and ledger maintenance
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage financial data efficiently
Collaborate with the Controller to assist with accounting responsibilities, including financial reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all financial operations
Analyze and resolve discrepancies in billing and accounting records
Participate in periodic in-person meetings to discuss financial updates and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration
3+ years of experience
Experience with an ERP system preferred
QuickBooks experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

Experience with an ERP system
