Xpert Resourcing are delighted to be working with a friendly, well established business who are looking to add to their talented team. The business has grown steadily over the past few years and the ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in an Accountancy firm and understand accounting practices and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking firm who offer the flexibility of working from home for 2 – 3 days per week.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing and maintaining companies accounts and relationships
  • Preparing VAT returns for submission
  • Accounts preparation for clients
  • Produce monthly accounts where applicable
  • Assist with payroll duties
  • General Bookkeeping duties
  • Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage and Xero for efficient financial management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within practice
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting software including Sage and Xero
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
