Job Description:

This Contract-to-long-term position offers an opportunity to manage essential accounting functions while contributing to the overall financial efficiency of the organization. The role will begin as part-time with the potential to transition into a long-term position.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing of transactions
Utilize JobBOSS software for tracking and managing financial operations within the company
Prepare and process biweekly payroll for approximately 45 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Support general bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts and monitoring cash flow
Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and improve operational efficiency
Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining organized documentation
Provide payroll support using ADP systems, including timely submission and data management
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all financial activities
Communicate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve payment or invoice issues
Adapt to additional accounting tasks as needed to support the team

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting
Demonstrated experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with JobBOSS software or similar financial management tools
Ability to process payroll using ADP systems or willingness to learn
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing financial data
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Flexibility to work part-time hours initially with potential for a long-term transition
