7+ years of progressive accounting experience
At least 2 years in a senior or executive-level accounting role
Prior experience working with food manufacturing or CPG clients (required)
Strong, hands-on QuickBooks Online proficiency (required)
Proven track record managing client deductions, chargebacks, or trade promotions (required)
Experience with expense management and approval workflow via Zoho (highly preferred)
Direct experience working with C corporation accounting and corporate tax matters (highly preferred)
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Comfortable working independently and remotely in a self-managed, part-time capacity

Job Responsibility

Manage all accounting and bookkeeping duties for a C corp in the food manufacturing or CPG industry
Oversee and reconcile accounts, with a focus on handling client deductions, chargebacks, and complex reconciliations
Record and categorize all financial transactions
maintain an impeccable general ledger using QuickBooks Online
Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
Oversee expense management using Zoho
review submissions, ensure accuracy of data, and process approvals
Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate close processes
Partner with management on forecasting, cash flow management, and tax planning
Coordinate or support corporate tax filings and compliance for C corporation structure
