The role involves handling client shift requirements, finding staff, and managing complex rotas to maximise care coverage for vulnerable people.

Job Responsibility

  • Taking client shift requirements and entering them into the system
  • Finding staff members (Carers and Nurses) to fill the shifts
  • Using influencing skills to maximise care coverage
  • Working at fast pace and under pressure
  • Confirming shifts with clients
  • Confirming shifts with staff members
  • Managing and organising large, dynamic and often complex client rotas
  • Rearranging shift bookings to ensure maximum shift coverage
  • Encouraging staff members to cover shifts when necessary

Requirements

  • A background in professional care, experience in care coordination
  • A confident persona
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A highly competitive spirit, the desire to work towards goals and the stamina to excel in a fast-moving environment
  • Resilience, urgency and a desire to maximise the care provided to vulnerable people
