Job Responsibility

Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications
Select, clean and prepare metal stock, fabrication tools and equipment
Use of cutting / welding equipment and boiler making tools to install, fabricate, weld and/or repair structural components, pipe supports, caissons & J-Tube installation
Fit and assemble metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing or soldering
Use machines, equipment and tools in a safe and appropriate manner
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc
