Boilermaker Welder

• Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications
• Select, clean and prepare metal stock, fabrication tools and equipment
• Use of cutting / welding equipment and boiler making tools to install, fabricate, weld and/or repair structural components, pipe supports, caissons & J-Tube installation
• Fit and assemble metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing or soldering
• Use machines, equipment and tools in a safe and appropriate manner
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc

• Construction White/Blue Card
• Experience in FCAW and SMAW
• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Working at Height, EWP, Confined Space, Gas test Atmospheres
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proficient using Microsoft Office
• Current Driver's License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Full Working Rights in Australia
