Job Responsibility

  • Carrying out repairs and modifications to all rail infrastructure, including general fabrication
  • Provide guidance, active involvement and coaching in assisting to ensuring safe working procedures are achieved
  • Assisting in the identification of the scope of work required, also ensure work orders, permits are completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance and efficiency
  • Work within a collaborative environment, conducting inspections, identifying problems, and implementing improvements to ensure the highest quality standards

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
  • Current medium rigid truck licence (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Manual driver's license
  • Additional certificates, Basic Rigger
  • Dogger HRWL would be highly regarded
