Job Description:

As a Boiler Assistant with Wilmar Sugar & Renewables you'll be at the core of our operations, assisting the Boiler Operator with overseeing critical equipment, ensuring optimal steam generation and maintaining plant efficiency. This hands-on role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and relevant performance standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with Boiler Station and shift teams to keep operations running smoothly and safely
  • Take charge of turbine and auxiliary equipment start-ups and shut-downs
  • Manage the Bagasse system with precision
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and handle boiler and auxiliary systems, reporting abnormalities
  • Actively contribute to work, health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • High-Risk Work License for Turbine Operator (TO)
  • Advanced Boiler Operator (BA) certification or willingness/ability to achieve competencies

  • Admin associated with this position includes a detailed description of work performed on service orders, executes time cards and Installation Status Reports (ISRs), and attends required training
