As a Boiler Assistant at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the boiler station and associated plant. This hands-on position will see you involved in plant monitoring, inspections, and operational support to keep production running smoothly. This is a permanent position based at Proserpine Mill in the heart of the Whitsundays, offering a fantastic lifestyle surrounded by tropical beauty and a close-knit community. The role involves shift work during the crushing season, including weekends and overtime, with day work during the maintenance period.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the safe and efficient running of the boiler station and associated plant
  • Support and manage plant start-up and shutdown activities
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitor plant performance
  • Maintain accurate operational logs and documentation
  • Assist with feedwater treatment and ash management systems
  • Adhere to strict safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members
