Our Body Shop A-Technicians are responsible for advanced auto body repair. This role works to repair vehicles back to safety standards, including structural repairs, panel repairs and replacements, and other damage repair. Our Body Shop A-Technicians are motivated self-starters that are able to meet tight deadlines.
Job Responsibility:
Repair wrecked vehicles back to OEM safety standards
Work with estimates to make repairs by deadlines
Structural Repair: Use frame machines, hydraulic equipment, align damaged sections, and restore the vehicle's frame back to OEM standards
Panel Repair & Replacement: remove, repair, or weld body panels
Tool Operation: Proficiently using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and spot welders
Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations
Work on vehicles that combine traditional steel with aluminum, carbon fiber, or high-strength plastics
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
3+ years of experience in Auto Body Repair
I-Car certification, strongly preferred
Experience working in a high-volume auto body shop
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Must have your own tools
Familiarity with industry-standard safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast pace, deadline-driven environment
Physical ability to sit, stand or crouch for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
