Job Description:

As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club Operations team, the Boatcierge greets, anticipates needs, and suggests local attractions for members to enjoy a hassle-free day on the water. We are looking for customer-focused friendly and upbeat individuals. This position is part-time and requires availability on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette
  • Navigate the reservation system via handheld tablet
  • Complete daily clerical work to prepare reservation system, fuel logs and weather reports
  • Familiarize yourself with local waters in order to provide basic guidance to members
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Support the team to reach common goals
  • Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements:

  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets and communicate via phone
  • Availability to work regularly weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to adhere to all safety policies
